Hey friend,
Today's show reminded me that what God asks you to do isn't always just about you.
Sometimes your obedience becomes someone else's miracle.
Here are a few moments that really stayed with me today.
❤️ The Hero Who Came Back 28 Years Later
Sarah was being attacked by three men.
A stranger stepped in and saved her life.
The injuries he suffered left him walking with a cane for years.
Fast forward 28 years.
Sarah's daughter was getting married.
And that same man who rescued her all those years ago slowly put down his cane and walked her daughter down the aisle.
That's one of those stories that reminds you there are truly good people in this world.
👮 The Officer's Final Paycheck
On his last day as a police officer, Commander Brian Peters did something unusual.
Instead of writing tickets...
He gave away gift cards.
Parents.
Families.
People who looked like they could use a little encouragement.
The money came from his own final paycheck.
His reason?
"The community has been so good to me. This is my way of saying thank you."
🤝 How to Help Someone Who's Hurting
Most of us have said:
"Let me know if you need anything."
The problem is...
People in pain often don't know how to ask.
A better approach?
Instead of saying:
"Call me if you need dinner."
Try:
"I'm bringing dinner over at 7."
Specific help is easier to receive than open-ended offers.
😴 Even Jesus Needed a Break
Jesus healed people.
Taught crowds.
Answered questions.
Changed lives.
And yet...
He regularly stepped away from people to pray and recharge.
That's important.
Because if Jesus needed rest, you do too.
You have permission to take a break.
🚪 Someone's Breakthrough Is Connected to Your Yes
One thought today really hit me.
Moses kept giving God reasons why he couldn't lead Israel.
What if he never said yes?
How many people would have remained stuck?
Sometimes we focus on our weaknesses.
God focuses on His ability.
Maybe the thing you're afraid to do is bigger than you realize.
🙏 Nothing Is Too Small
One listener asked for prayer about Wi-Fi problems.
Another called needing prayer because they were homeless.
One request seemed tiny.
One seemed enormous.
God cares about both.
Scripture says:
"Do not be anxious about anything."
Anything.
Nothing is too big.
Nothing is too small.
🙌 Final Thought
You don't need to be perfectly qualified.
You don't need all the answers.
You just need to be willing to say:
"Yes, God."
Because someone else's breakthrough may be waiting on the other side of your obedience.
