What’s On Your Bucket List?

A survey said 85% of people have a bucket list.

One listener called in and shared that she finally went skydiving…
and right before the jump, the interior door handle of the plane fell off.

Nope.
Absolutely not.

And somehow she still jumped.

Another listener shared how she always dreamed of visiting Israel and finally took the trip after stepping out in faith and getting a second job to save money.

Sometimes the dream stays a dream…
until you take one small step.

A family had electricians working at their house for weeks.

Their little boy Theo followed them everywhere.
Asked nonstop questions.
Wanted to help with everything.

After the job was done, the family got a surprise envelope in the mail.

Inside was a paycheck made out to Theo for:

And yes…
they even paid him $15.

That kid is probably becoming an electrician someday.

We talked about why Christianity is different from every other religion.

Most belief systems say:
Do more.
Be better.
Try harder.

But Jesus stepped down for the weak.

That’s the Gospel.
Not people earning their way to God…
but God reaching down to people.

Prayer matters.

But today we talked about something else too:
expectation.

Jesus said:
“Whatever you ask in prayer, believe.”

Not perfectly.
Not magically.

But with faith that God still moves mountains.

If you’re trying to eat healthier…
apparently the secret is to stop snacking.

I’m still working on that one too.

You don’t have to change your whole life overnight.

But maybe today is the day to take one small step of faith.

Toward your dream.
Toward healing.
Toward Jesus.
