The Miracle Didn’t Happen Until He Took the Step

Sometimes obedience comes before the miracle.

Not after.

Here are a few moments from today that really stuck with me.

Almost half of Americans say they would change careers today if they could.

But fear keeps people stuck.

One listener shared how she moved to help care for her daughter and grandchildren during a heartbreaking season of life.

Another listener stepped into an uncertain future after losing her healthcare job.

Neither story came with guarantees.

But both came with trust that God would provide.

And He did.

Liam had just finished a marathon honoring his young niece who passed away from cancer.

Exhausted and emotional, he accidentally got on the wrong train afterward.

Standing alone on a platform in London…
people noticed his marathon medal.

One stranger started clapping.
Then another.
Then suddenly the whole platform erupted cheering for him.

Later the video went viral and donations poured into the charity he supported.

Sometimes God reminds you:
You are not running this race alone.

Moses stood at the Red Sea with nowhere to go.

God could have parted the waters immediately.

But Scripture says the step came first.

Then the miracle happened.

That’s hard for us because we want proof before obedience.

But faith usually works in reverse.

One idea from today I loved:

Rewrite your goals every morning.

Not just hustle goals.
Not just money goals.

Ask God first:
“What vision do You have for my life?”

Then write it down.

The Bible says:
“Without vision, the people perish.”

For his birthday, Ethan didn’t ask for toys.

He asked people to donate money for protective vests for police dogs.

By the end…
he raised enough to help protect two K9 officers.

That’s a pretty incredible 9-year-old.

Maybe the obstacle in front of you feels impossible right now.

But maybe God is simply asking you for the next step.

Not the whole plan.
Not the whole future.

Just obedience today.
