Hey friend,

Today's show was all about not giving up.

Not giving up on your marriage.
Not giving up on your dreams.
Not giving up when the road feels longer than you expected.

Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.

🎓 The Promise That Changed Everything

Alex grew up in a slum in Haiti.

Then an earthquake changed everything.

In the middle of the devastation, he remembers seeing American soldiers helping his community.

For the first time, he felt hope.

And he made a promise:

"One day, I'll be an American soldier."

Years later, after arriving in America with very little formal education, Alex graduated from West Point.

Not only that...

He graduated in the top 5% academically and physically.

As he stood there in his cap and gown, the memories finally caught up with him.

And so did the tears.

❤️ Marriage Advice Worth Remembering

One listener shared a piece of advice from a long-married couple:

"When you're wrong, admit it. When you're right, forget it."

Another listener said:

"You just don't give up."

Simple words.

But powerful ones.

Because every marriage has hard seasons.

The key isn't avoiding them.

It's making it through them together.

📝 Write Down Your Ideas

One practical tip from today's show:

Write down every idea.

Even the weird ones.
Even the unfinished ones.
Even the ones that don't make sense yet.

You never know which idea God might use later.

💪 Consistency Beats Talent

Denzel Washington shared this reminder:

"Without commitment you'll never start. Without consistency you'll never finish."

That hit me.

Because most breakthroughs don't happen overnight.

They happen because somebody keeps showing up.

Again.
And again.
And again.

🤔 Ask "Why?"

One of the smartest pieces of advice from today:

When you feel defensive...

Get curious.

Ask:

"Why am I reacting this way?"

That simple question can change a conversation, a relationship, and sometimes even your perspective.

🙏 The Advice College Students Rarely Hear

A college professor asked students what they should do to prepare for a career.

The answers were predictable:

Study hard.
Build a resume.
Network.
Choose the right major.

But nobody said:

"Pray."

And yet the God who created work...
the God who created you...
cares deeply about your future.

That's a reminder all of us need.

🙌 Final Thought

If you're tempted to quit today...

Don't.

The next season may be closer than you think.

Keep showing up.
Keep trusting God.
Keep moving forward.

You never know which promise He's preparing to fulfill.
