Today's show reminded me that you never know what someone is carrying—or how one small act of kindness can become an answer to prayer.

Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.

❤️ The Compliment That Became a Hug

Tiffany thought it was an unusual compliment.

An older man looked at her messy bun and said,

"Your hair is beautiful."

Then he quietly explained why.

His wife had passed away just two months earlier.

Tiffany reminded him of her.

Without thinking, she asked,

"Can I give you a hug?"

He smiled.

She hugged him.

Later she realized that God had placed her in that elevator for a reason.

Sometimes the miracle isn't something spectacular.

Sometimes it's simply showing up at exactly the right moment.

😊 Joy Doesn't Ignore Pain

Chris from Rend Collective shared something incredibly honest.

During his struggle with depression, he thought sadness meant he was failing as a Christian.

Over time he learned something different.

Joy isn't pretending life is easy.

Joy can exist right alongside grief.

God doesn't ask us to fake happiness.

He meets us honestly in our pain and gently leads us toward hope.

🏖️ Why 11:08 Still Matters

For years, Lori and her husband vacationed in the same old beach motel.

Their favorite room was...

1108.

The motel is gone now.

But whenever her husband notices the time is 11:08, he'll text her those four numbers.

She always replies,

"I love you too."

Simple traditions often become the memories that last the longest.

🔍 Look for the Red Cars

One speaker shared a simple illustration.

If someone offered you $50 for every red car you noticed today...

You'd suddenly see red cars everywhere.

Blessings work the same way.

The more intentionally you look for God's goodness...

The more often you'll notice it.

Maybe the blessings have been there all along.

❓One Question That Can Change Everything

Here's a question worth asking about every commitment in your life:

"Knowing what I know now... would I start doing this again today?"

If the answer is no...

It may be time to let it go.

Sometimes growing means stopping.

🌱 You're Closer Than You Think

I spent hours doing landscaping this weekend.

Halfway through, I looked around and thought,

"I've barely made any progress."

Then I realized something.

I never took a before picture.

Without it, I forgot how far I'd already come.

Maybe you're doing the same thing in your own life.

Take a moment today to remember where God has already brought you.

You're making more progress than you think.

🦜 The Voice That Came Back

Owen was diagnosed with regressive autism.

One day, he simply stopped speaking.

His parents searched for anything that might help.

The one thing he connected with was Aladdin.

More specifically...

Iago, the loud, sarcastic parrot voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

Owen began repeating Iago's lines.

Slowly, those words became conversations.

Years later, Gilbert Gottfried surprised Owen by reading those same lines to him in person.

Owen laughed.

His dad said it was a sound he hadn't heard in a very long time.

Never underestimate the unexpected ways God can bring hope.

🎨 It's Never Too Late

One listener started selling his artwork later in life.

Another caller shared that her husband picked up a guitar at age 54.

We sometimes believe there's an expiration date on our dreams.

God never says that.

As long as He gives you another day...

He may be giving you another opportunity.

🌱 Grow the Good

Want fewer weeds in your lawn?

Grow thicker grass.

Healthy grass crowds out the weeds.

The same is true in life.

The more you fill your heart with God's truth...

The less room fear, bitterness, and temptation have to grow.

Don't spend all your energy chasing weeds.

Keep growing what's good.

👥 Friendship Matters

Researchers found the healthiest amount of time to spend with friends is about twice a week.

That doesn't surprise me.

God created us for connection.

If you've been feeling lonely...

Maybe the answer isn't waiting for someone to call.

Maybe it's making the call yourself.

🚗 Don't Rush

I was trying to save time towing my son's car.

Instead...

I damaged it.

I was embarrassed.

Frustrated.

And reminded of something I seem to keep learning.

Rushing usually creates more problems than it solves.

Sometimes slowing down is actually the fastest way forward.

❤️ Commitment Brings Security

One speaker shared something that stuck with me.

Commitment isn't a burden.

It's a gift.

When you tell someone,

"I'm not going anywhere,"

you give them security.

That's one reason God compares His love to a covenant.

He doesn't love us only when life is easy.

He stays.

🙌 Final Thought

There is nothing you can do today that will make God love you more.

And there is nothing you've done that will make Him love you less.

That's what grace looks like.

So keep dreaming.

Keep growing.

Keep trusting.

Because God isn't finished with your story.
