Happy Friday!
Apologies for no newsletter yesterday - I’m a one man show doing everything and life got a little crazy. But like Jerry Seinfeld says “Don’t miss twice,” I’m back today!
Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs don't come from doing everything.
They come from doing the next right thing.
Today's show was a reminder that faithfulness in the small things can change your life.
Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.
🎓 He Went Back to Work
Most graduates celebrate with friends.
Mikael celebrated a little differently.
After walking across the graduation stage, he drove to the Burger King where he worked.
The restaurant was short-staffed.
So he put his cap and gown back on, stepped behind the counter, and started serving customers.
A customer snapped a photo and shared it online.
Soon strangers donated more than $100,000 toward his future.
Hard work has a way of getting noticed.
Even when you think no one is watching.
✅ One Step Is Enough
I know what it's like to stare at a giant to-do list.
It can feel impossible.
So I decided to stop trying to finish everything.
Instead, I started asking:
"What's the next thing?"
Just one task.
One phone call.
One email.
One step.
If you do that every day, imagine where you'll be a year from now.
Progress doesn't happen all at once.
It happens one faithful step at a time.
🙏 A Prayer Anyone Can Pray
Prayer doesn't have to sound impressive.
Sometimes it's as simple as:
"Hey God..."
That's it.
Tell Him what's on your heart.
Thank Him for today.
Ask Him for help.
God isn't grading your vocabulary.
He just wants to hear your voice.
🕊️ You're Not the Holy Spirit
If you're trying to convince someone to follow Jesus…
Remember this.
Your job isn't to change their heart.
That's God's job.
Your job is to love them.
Pray for them.
And faithfully point them toward Jesus.
That takes a lot of pressure off.
🤝 It's Okay to Ask for Help
One listener shared how she suddenly found herself raising three children under the age of three.
Both of her vehicles broke down.
She didn't know how she'd get to work.
Her church stepped in and gave her a reliable vehicle.
Sometimes the miracle is simply letting people help.
❤️ You're Never Too Young
One of my favorite calls came from a young girl.
She and her homeschool dance group regularly visit nursing homes.
They dance.
They smile.
Then they sit and talk with the residents.
You don't have to wait until you're older to make a difference.
God can use you right now.
🙌 Final Thought
Maybe today feels overwhelming.
Maybe your list is too long.
Maybe you're wondering where to even begin.
Don't worry about finishing everything.
Just take the next step.
God will meet you there.

GOOD DEAL OF THE DAY:
I put these in all my closets that don’t have lights in them! Magnetic and rechargeable, the light lasts for weeks - and when I need to charge them, they just plug into a standard USB-C phone charger:
