But growth rarely happens when life is easy.
Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.
🎈 The Birthday Party Escort
Officer Nick noticed a woman carrying balloons and decided to stop.
At first, he was concerned.
Instead, he discovered a mom walking to her daughter's first birthday party.
He offered her a ride.
But before they got there, the officers made one extra stop.
They bought a birthday cake.
Then everyone sang Happy Birthday together like old friends.
It's amazing how much joy can come from simple kindness.
❤️ The First 50 Years Are the Hardest
One listener shared advice from her nearly 90-year-old mother.
After 62 years of marriage, she said:
"Just keep going, honey. The first 50 years are the hardest."
That made me laugh.
But it also reminded me that the people who stay faithful through hard seasons often have the best wisdom.
🌱 Growth Isn't Comfortable

"We weren't born to be comfortable."
He's helping raise three grandchildren and admitted he misses peace and quiet.

👨👦 Make The Most Of Your Moments
My wife recently reminded me that our oldest son only has a couple years left before adulthood.
That hit me hard.
Because my dad left when I was young and passed away before I turned 15.
So I'm trying to enjoy every moment I have with my kids.
Time moves quickly.
Love people while you have the chance.
💼 Your Job Is Not Your Identity
I've had jobs where I struggled.
And during those seasons, I started believing I had no value.
But God reminded me:
Your job is what you do.
It is not who you are.
Your worth was settled long before your career ever began.

And don't let your circumstances define you.
Just keep going.
