Hey friend,

Today's show reminded me that God isn't looking for perfect people.

He's looking for honest ones.

Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.

♿ He Refused to Give Up

Nine years ago, an accident left Wesley paralyzed from the waist down.

His life changed instantly.

He struggled physically.
He struggled emotionally.
He struggled mentally.

Then one day he looked at his daughter.

And he made a decision.

If he couldn't get better for himself, he'd do it for her.

Wesley changed his eating habits.
Started lifting weights.
Lost 100 pounds.

Today he's an award-winning adaptive athlete whose nonprofit helps others reclaim their health and hope.

His story is proof that tragedy doesn't get the final word.

🙏 One of the Most Honest Prayers in the Bible

A father came to Jesus desperate for help.

His son was suffering.

And in one of the most relatable prayers ever recorded, he said:

"I believe. Help my unbelief."

Part faith.
Part fear.

And Jesus responded.

That's good news for people like us.

Because most days our faith isn't perfect either.

🏃 The Best Run of My Life

When my son Joash was finishing elementary school, my wife suggested I run the school 5K with him.

At first he wanted to run with his friends.

Honestly, I was disappointed.

Then right before the race started, he turned around.

He fought through the crowd, found me, and said:

"Dad, I changed my mind. Can I run with you instead?"

It ended up being one of my favorite memories as a dad.

🧠 Prayer Changes More Than You Think

Researchers found that 12 minutes of focused prayer every day for eight weeks can create measurable changes in the brain.

Think about that.

Prayer isn't just a religious exercise.

It's a relationship.

A conversation.

An opportunity to bring fear, anxiety, frustration, and hope directly to God.

❤️ The Grumpy Customer Nobody Understood

For seven years, Buck went to the same restaurant every day.

He complained.
He was rude.
He never tipped.

Then he died.

A note arrived at the restaurant.

Inside, Buck explained that one waitress was the only person who consistently treated him with kindness.

Along with the note?

The keys to his car and $50,000.

You never know what somebody is carrying.

And you never know how far kindness can go.

🚪 Walk Into New Rooms

One thought from today really challenged me.

If you keep talking to the same people, you'll keep finding the same opportunities.

Sometimes God is inviting you into a new room.

A new conversation.
A new friendship.
A new season.

Not because it's comfortable.

Because it's where He's leading.

🙌 Final Thought

Maybe today your prayer isn't:

"God, I've got it all figured out."

Maybe it's:

"God, I'm trying."

And maybe that's enough.

Because Jesus has always responded to imperfect faith.
