Hey friend,
Today's show reminded me that sometimes the people who understand your pain the most…
are the people who have walked through it themselves.
Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.
🇺🇸 He Understood
Kristen was just trying to buy groceries.
She wore her husband's Marine Corps sweatshirt because he was deployed overseas.
The man in front of her noticed it.
Then something unexpected happened.
He paid for all of her groceries.
Why?
Because years earlier, he had been deployed too.
He knew what separation felt like.
Before leaving, he gave her one piece of advice:
"Love him like you've never loved him before when he comes home."
Sometimes the people who understand your pain best are the people who've lived it.
🚲 One Bike Became 200,000
Terry noticed garages full of bikes nobody used anymore.
He also noticed kids who couldn't afford one.
So he started fixing old bikes and giving them away.
That simple idea grew into Free Bikes for Kids.
Today more than 200,000 children have received bikes.
All because one person decided to do something small.
Never underestimate what God can do with one simple act of kindness.
📱 Put the Phone Down
One thought from today hit me hard.
Sometimes we're so focused on our phones that we miss what God is doing right in front of us.
We miss people.
We miss opportunities.
We miss those gentle nudges from the Holy Spirit.
Maybe today God isn't asking for more screen time.
Maybe He's asking for more awareness.

🙏 God Doesn't Need Fancy Words
Words like "supplication" sound intimidating.
But prayer is really simple.
It's just asking.
You don't need impressive language.
You can simply say:
"God, I need Your help today."
That's enough.
❤️ Encourage Your Kids
Steve Harvey shared something beautiful:
Always encourage your children.
You don't know who God placed inside them.
That's such a great reminder.
Because words can build people up for a lifetime.
🐦 You Matter More Than Birds
Jesus said to look at the birds.
They don't spend their days worrying.
And God takes care of them.
Then Jesus asks:
"Aren't you worth much more than they are?"
The answer is yes.
You are valuable.
You matter.
And God has not forgotten you.
🙌 Final Thought
If you're overwhelmed right now…
maybe it's because you're trying to carry things God never asked you to carry alone.
His burden is light.
His yoke is easy.
Let Him help.
