Today's show reminded me that faith often looks much simpler than we make it.

Here are a few moments that really stayed with me.

🍦 The Ice Cream Prayer

Sarah's grocery shopping was done.

Her bank account had about twenty dollars left.

As they drove home, her kids begged to stop for ice cream.

She gently explained there wasn't enough money.

Then one of her children prayed out loud.

"God, we'd really love some ice cream. If You could help Mommy, thank You."

Sarah smiled, thinking that wasn't how God usually works.

When they got home, she checked the mail.

Inside was an unexpected check.

The kids got their ice cream.

Sarah got something even better.

A reminder that God still provides.

🦅 Freedom Took Flight

A bald eagle was trapped 75 feet in the air by a rope.

Rescuers couldn't reach it.

An Army veteran named Jason stepped forward.

For nearly ninety minutes he carefully fired shot after shot until one finally cut the rope.

The eagle dropped safely to the ground and survived.

They named the eagle Freedom.

Sometimes freedom comes because someone refused to give up.

❤️ Jesus Never Gets Tired of You

When Jesus finally found a quiet place to rest, the crowds followed Him there.

He could have sent them away.

Instead, the Bible says He had compassion on them.

If you feel lost today...

Jesus isn't frustrated with you.

He's inviting you to come closer.

🍉 The Perfect Watermelon

Need help picking a watermelon?

A tall, football-shaped melon usually has more water.

A shorter, rounder one is often sweeter.

Life lesson?

Sometimes the right choice is easier than we think.

GOOD DEAL OF THE DAY:

I put these in all my closets that don’t have lights in them! Magnetic and rechargeable, the light lasts for weeks - and when I need to charge them, they just plug into a standard USB-C phone charger:

😎 You Value What You Protect

One listener used to buy cheap sunglasses and constantly lose them.

Then she finally bought an expensive pair.

Years later...

She still has them.

The sunglasses didn't change.

Her value of them did.

We take better care of what we truly value.

The same can be true of our relationships.

🙏 Pray. Prepare. Be Patient.

Prayer is only the beginning.

Ask God.

Prepare as though He's going to answer.

Then trust His timing.

That last step is usually the hardest.

But it's often where faith grows the most.

🙌 Final Thought

You were made for more than simply surviving.

God is growing your faith.

Preparing your future.

And working in ways you can't always see.

So keep praying.

Keep preparing.

Keep trusting.

The answer may be closer than you think.
